Fiona Haldane - Exhibition Dates and Venues
Eduardo Alessandro Studios
Grey Street Broughty Ferry, Dundee
March 8th 2008 - An Exhibition features all new paintings by Fiona Haldane. The Exhibition runs throughout March
A local Art Critic writes - Fiona Haldane's paintings, are stunning. I thought I knew her work very well, but I had never seen anything like this.Gone are the highly impactive, vivid sunset studies for which she has become well known, and though you may have had a foretaste of her forest studies, in which she asks you to leave the busy world behind, you will be unprepared for the powerful, evocative studies of the awesome beauty of Glenshee and Glencoe in winter, and the tumultuous, crashing impact of the huge Cascade, Glen Doll. Many will look with new eyes at familiar scenes after seeing paintings like Distant Tide, Broughty Ferry and Silver Tide, St Andrews, and all of us will be reawakened to the magic of the silent forests and moorlands.
Scotland has a new chronicler-Fiona has emerged into the sunlit uplands, and just as people look at some Angus village and say, "That looks just like a McIntosh Patrick, " now there will be Fiona Haldane landscapes.
Don't miss this exhibition; it is stunning.
The studios are open daily, except Sunday, and the exhibition runs until March 31
